Vision Needs

Of the many vision disorders diagnosed, the most common are : astigmatism, myopia, hyperopia and presbyopia. Astigmatism, myopia, and hyperopia have been found to be hereditary. There is no known prevention. Presbyopia is progressive vision loss due to aging and also can not be prevented.

Symptoms include blurred vision, eye strain and headaches. In most cases, these conditions are corrected with contact lenses or glasses.

In this section you will learn more about the various vision conditions. We would also like to encourage you to consult your eye care professional for more information.
