Like strength or agility, your vision is important when it comes to sports.
Just think of all the things that might be difficult with blurry vision: shooting that 3-pointer, hitting a baseball or even jumping hurdles. So, by correcting your vision, you could actually giving your game a boost. Your eye care practitioner can help you figure out the amount of correction you need, as well as the best type for the sport you play. (If you don't already have an eye care practitioner, you can find one here.) You’ll also want to remember the importance of protecting your eyes. Depending on your sport, protect them from injury with safety glasses and from the sun’s UV rays with sunglasses.
